Pfc. Kenneth Bonestroo, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bonestroo, of Route 2, Hull, was killed February 6 in action in South Vietnam.

Kenneth died in a helicopter crash while he was in a group being transported from one position to another, according to word received Thursday by his parents.

Pfc. Bonestroo was born May 23, 1951, at Hull. He was a graduated from Boyden-Hull High School in 1970 and entered the Army soon after.

He went to Vietnam October 19, 1970. Kenneth was engaged to be married to Ellen Langstraat of Larchwood.

Survivors besides the parents include three brothers, Irwin, Ronald and Douglas and two sisters, Janice and Sharon all of Hull, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sevier of Redlands, California and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bonestroo of Hull.
