Mr. and Mrs. Nick Bomgaars and three children of South Gate, California and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Van Dyk of Paramount, California arrived Friday to attend the funeral of Gerrit Bomgaars, which was held Monday from the Matlock Reformed Church. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery at Matlock, Sioux County, Iowa.

Note: Find a Grave Memorial states His parents were Nicholas and Margriet A. (Vander Wilt) Bomgaars.He was married to Hermina Van Oort and they had three children. They are: Marguerite Bomgaars, Anna Bomgaars Marra, and Nicholas Bomgaars.

He also has five brothers: Marinus, Antonie, Arie, Joe and Henry Bomgaars and two sisters: Tracy Bomgaars Van Oort and Nellie Bomgaars Van Dyk.
