Florence Mae Boersma, 36, of Hospers, died Thursday, July 11, at a Sioux City Hospital after a brief illness.

A memorial services was held Saturday at 1:30 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church in Hospers. Reverend Henry Eggink officiated. Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center was in charge of arrangements. The body was cremated.

Mrs. Boersma, the former Florence Mae Banks, was born October 17, 1948, at Akron. She married LeRoy Boersma on August 20, 1970, at Westfield. She was a member of the Couple’s Club, a Sunday School teacher, and an active Brownie troop leader.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Pamela and Judith, and a son, Scott, all at home; her parents, Lenore and Wurth Banks of Westfield; and a sister, Candace of Salt Lake City, Utah.
