Services Held for Mrs. P. Davelaar.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Peter Davelaar 81, whoe died in a Sioux Falls Hospital Wednesday, Jun 19, following a heart attach were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Porter Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Van Zweden officiating. Interment was in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.

Gertrude, Mrs. Davelaar was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Vander Linden, born October 31, 1886 at Sioux Center, where she lived until 1980 when she moved with her family to rural Rock Valley.
She married Peter Davelaar in the home of her parents January 3, 1955, and they farmed in the area since.

Casket bearers were Paul Vander Linden; Adian Landegent, Harold Van Ravenswaay, John Vander Linden, John Vanen Brink and Jake Dibber, Jr.
Survivors include the husband Peter, a daughter Connie, four sons, Richard, Kenneth, Jeffery and David all at home, Two sisters, Mrs. Vernon Sandbulte and Mrs. Farnce Beatz Rock Valley and Mrs. Jack Vande Hoef of Sioux Center.
