OBITUARY
Funeral service were held Friday, May 19, for Everet (Ed) Davelaar, 76, at the Porter Funeral Home, with ihe Rev. Henry Schoon of Boyden officiating. Mr. Davelaar died unexpectedly at his farm home Tuesday May 18. Everet Davelaar was born March 14, 1891, in Nykerk, Netherlands and had lived in America since 1921. He is survived by three nephews. Pall bearers were Ray Brunsting, Gayer, Al Vanden Berg, Ed Rus, Conie Tenissen and Henry J. Ranschau. Music was furnished by Mrs. Jake Vande Weerd and Mrs. Henry Feekes, and the organist Mrs. Georg H. Van Beek. Interment was in Valley View Cemetery.
