Word was received here Monday of the death of Steve Winter who died in Illinois of lock jaw. The remains were brought here Wednesday noon and the funeral services were held Thursday at the home of his son in law Ray Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Winter went to Illinois to visit relatives a couple of months ago and this is a sad ending to their visit. Mr. Winter is a pioneer of this county, Having lived neat Hudson about thirty years ago.
