Sunday Sept 24, 1922 Jan Dantema died at 52 years. The obit was signed by Mrs. J. Dantema and children.

(Jan Dantema/Dantuma was born 19 Nov 1870 and died 24 Sep 1922 Hospers Cemetery Hospers, Iowa. He was married to Coba Jongeman 1896 at Orange City. Marriage record from Reg 2, page 16. John Dantema age 23 of Alton a laborer, born in the Neth. To Rudolf/Roelof Dantema and Katie ‘Tryntje’ Kruyer, married July 18, 1896 by J.O.P H. Slikkerveer at Orange City to Coba Jongejan age 17 born Netherlands to Cornelius Jongejan and Jennie Vander Star. In the 1910 census the family was living in Moxee Yakima WA John was 37, a creamery worker, Cora/Coba 30 born Neth. They had the following children – Ralph 12, Janet 11, Francis 9, Cornelius 5, Eather 3 and Loyd 1. )
