Margaret (Peggy) Scott, 67 of Burlington, WA. died Thursday March 22, 2001.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wed. at Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars with the Rev. Tim Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.
Mrs. Scott was born July 25, 1933 in Le Mars, the daughter of Lloyd and Mercedes (Wiltgen) Moir. She graduated from Maurice high school and later from Iowa State University, earning a degree in home economics. She married Clarence E. Schat (Scott) on Nov. 25, 2955. Mr. Schat (Scott) is deceased. She worked for Northern States Power and later became a homemaker. They divorced in 1977. While raising her family she lived in Sioux Falls, Merrill and Lawton and more recently Colorado and Washington.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Scott or Sedro Woolley, WA; and Richard and his wife Lori Scott of Littleton, CO; three daughters and their husbands, Pam and Brian Newberg of Colorado Springs, CO.;Patti and Dave Christiansen of Moville, IA and Carol and Dave Hall of Lincoln, NE; 14 grandchildren: two brothers and their wives, Lloyd and Amy Moir of Broomfield, CO. and John and Marilyn Moir of Sioux City; and a sister, Sue Willis of Fredricksburg, VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Kathy.
