Hawarden Independent July 13, 1978

Susan Cook, 2 ½ -year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Cook of Hawarden, died Monday morning at a Sioux City hospital of a sudden illness. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Hansen officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Susan was born Aug. 26, 1975, in Amarillo, Tex. Survivors include her parents; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Worrell of Hawarden; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cook of Sioux City; great grandfather, Harvey Weaver of Sioux City and great-grandmother, Mrs.. Jessie Worrell of Onawa.
