Rites held Monday for Mrs. P. Conley accident victim. Funeral services were held at the American Reformed church in Orange City Monday for Mrs. Phil Conley, the former May De Jong of Orange City, who was killed in a motor collision neor Laramie WY, Wednesday. Burial was in the local cemetery beside the body of a brother.

Mr. and Mrs. Conley were enroute from their home in Cedar Falls to visit their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth De Jong at Seal Beach. Calif. Mr. De Jong was formerly Postmaster at Orange City. Mrs. Conley was a graduate of Orange City high school and of the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.

Survivors include the widower, who was injured in the accident; and hospitalized at Laramie, Wyo.: her parents two brothers, John and William De Jong. According to current reports the Conley passenger car was struck in the rear by a truck, causing the death and injury of the car’s occupants.
