Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Barnard Funeral home here for William Colwill, 88 who died Saturday.

Mr. Colwill was born Sept 21, 1865, in Illinois and lived at Ireton IA for 70 years before moving to Hawarden six years ago. He was a laborer and there are no survivors.

(The 1925 Iowa state census lists his father was William Colwill died 1870 and Minerva Johnson 1838 Ancestry list William George’s birth at 1868 and a brother of his Lewis Colwill born 1865 died 1922.)
