ANOTHER TRAGEDY IN CITY
Tragedy struck Hawarden again last Friday evening when Glenn Douglas Coleman, 19, of rural Hawarden was struck by an automobile in Hawarden while he was driving a motorcycle without lights. Coleman died of brain damage about four hours after the accident.

Funeral services for Coleman were held at Dow Funeral chapel Monday afternoon with Dr. G. S. Bruland officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery in Hawarden. Mrs. Noe was organist, and Miss Cathie Johannsen sang "In the Garden" and "Softly and Tenderly." Casket bearers were Robert Scott, Ray Dimmick, Joe Carr, Duane Terpstra, Terry Finch, and Gary Bakker.
