Earl Clifford Cogswell, 62, of Rock Valley was dead on arrival at the Rock Valley Hospital Thursday. October 22, after being stricken at his farm home. Services were at 10:36 a.m. Saturday In St. Mary Catholic Church at Rock Valley. The Rev. William Wingert officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery. The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Friday in the Porter Funeral Home.

Mr. Cogswell was born Nov. 13, 1918, at Little Rock, Ark. He married Veronica Grady June 12, 1942. at Rock Valley. The couple farmed in the Rock Valley area. Survivors include the widow; and one daughter Miss Carolyn of Emmetsburg. (obit stated continued on page 8 but it couldn’t be found)
