Heather Sara Jean Bennett, 3½ year-old daughter of Mark and Avis (Andringa) Bennett of Dover, New Hampshire, former Orange City residents, died Tuesday in a hospital in Dover after a sudden illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend Carl Zylstra officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Heather was born October 24, 1980, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Survivors include her parents; two brothers, James and Jonathon, both at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Andringa of Orange City; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Bennett of Denver, and a great-grandmother, Mrs. John G. Van Oordt of Orange City.
