Funeral Held for 92Year-Old Sioux Center Woman

Funeral services were held at the Bethel Christian Reformed church in Sioux Center Thursday for Mrs. William De Vos, 92, who died July 4 following a lingering illness. Rev. Richard Venema officiated with the burial being in Sioux Center. Mrs. De Vos was born in the Netherlands and came to America in 1888. She is now survived by four sons Arie, Edward, William and Henry. Also 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her husband and son, Case, preceded her in death.
