WILLIAM CLAERBOUT
Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church at Hull at 1:30 p. m. August 5 for William Claerbout, 88, of Hull, who died August 2 at the Rock Rapids hospital. Services were conducted by the Rev. David Ter Beest and burial was made in Hope cemetery at Hull.

Mr. Claerbout was born in Sheboygan County Wisconsin and moved to Hull at the age of 10. He was married to Jennie Jansma December 23, 1905, at Hull. He farmed for 26 years near Hull and then operated a furniture store and funeral business for 23 years before retiring about 10 years ago. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Wm. Kuiper of Hull, Mrs. Jack De Leeuw of Boyden, Mrs. Louis Van Schepen of Doon and Mrs. John Boer of Artesia., Calif.; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Bernard of Sioux City, Mrs. A. C. Kuyper of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Delia Dunn of Henning, Minn.
