W. Steensma died at his home in this city Sunday evening at the age of nearly ninetyone years. Deceased was born in Friesland Netherlands where he w2as united in marrage to Miss Antje De Boer. Of the five children born to them, two are living and are Mrs. E. Groeneveld of Pease Minnesota and Mrs. P. Wassenaar of Maurice. In 1882 Mr. and Mrs. Steensma came to this country and shortly thereafter the latter died. In 1896 Mr. Steensma was married to Mrs. Sipma who noe survives him. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Timmermann.
