Khamphanh Champarath Funeral services for Khamphanh Champarath, 76, Hull were held Saturday, Sept. 4, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Valley, with the Rev. Donald M. Smith officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery under the direction of the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home, Hull. She died Sunday, Aug. 29, at Marian Health Center, Sioux City.

Khamphanh Champarath was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Thailand, the daughter of Koon and Phomme Champarath. In 1935, she married Chaai Champarath in Thailand. He passed away in 1964 in Laos. She came to the United States in 1981, settling in Iowa. She lived at Ames, but has been in Hull the past few months. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Valley.

Survivors include three sons, Somvong, Milwaukee, Wis.; Km, Laos; and Sumey, Rhode Island; six daughters, Padith Thamat, Hull ; Davanh Meunsaveng, Sergeant Bluff; Kamtsan Phompheng,
Ames; Khankeo Seun, Hull; Khamseo Vongslay, Ames; and Amphan Vongslay, Sioux City; 40 grandchildren in the United States and many in Laos; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 11 children, Four sisters and two
brothers.
