From the Alton Democrat, October 18, 1913: Rock Valley news:

A little girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Klein Monday, but its stay was brief. The little flower faded, but was transplanted from the eden below to that blissful eden above.

From the Sioux County Index (Hull), October 24, 1913:

The little baby girl of Fred Klein and his wife, that died right after birth, was buried the 14th of October in the St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery in Lincoln township.
