Darwin “Sparky” Star, 47, died September 19, 2005 at Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be held Friday, October 7 at 2 P.M. at the Corsica Christian Reformed Church in Corsica, South Dakota.

Darwin Star was born June 17, 1958. He was raised in Corsica, and was a long time resident of Hawarden.

Survivors include his parents, Ed and Joyce Star of Corsica; birth mother, Grace Potts of Sioux Falls; sons, Chad Star of Hull and Cody Star of Hawarden; three grandchildren; and sisters, Kim Trayham of Des Moines and Barbara Erickson of Hawarden.

He was preceded in death by an infant son Jonathan Star.
