From the Rock Valley Bee, April 30, 1915:

DEATH OF WM. ROZEBOOM

Wm. Rozeboom, father of G. Rozeboom who lives southwest of Rock Valley, died Wednesday morning at his home in Sioux Center, after an illness of three days. Mr. Rozeboom was as well as usual until Sunday when he was stricken with paralysis. He never regained consciousness.

The deceased came to Sioux Center from Wright county, Iowa, about eighteen months ago. He was a man who was highly respected by all who knew him. He was sixty-five years old last November. He leaves a wife and eight children, five sons and three daughters, all of whom were at the bedside of their father. Two of the sons, John and T. Rozeboom, live in Wright county. Gerrit lives on a farm southwest of Rock Valley, and the others live at Sioux Center and near Hudson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:30 at the late home of the deceased and from the Christian Reformed church in Sioux Center at 1:30 p.m. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of many friends.

An announcement of his death, in Dutch, in the Sioux Center Nieuwsblad, May 5, 1915, provides no additional information on his life or death, other than that he was fresh and healthy on Sunday morning when he went to church, and suffered a sudden stroke that evening.
