Perry S. Woolsey III
Perry S. "Butch" (Stanton) Woolsey III, 33, of Chatsworth, and formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, September 20, 1993, at V.A. Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD, following a brief illness. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 23, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Rev. Shirley Texter, pastor of Adaville United Methodist Church, Adaville IA, officiated. Visitation was held Wednesday, September 22, with the family present in the evening at the funeral home. There was a service Wednesday evening by the Elk Point Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 915 and the Akron American Legion, Horschler Post 186 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be at the Farmer Cemetery in Farmer, TX, at a later date.Mr. Woolsey was born July 26, 1960, in Sioux City. He attended elementary schools, West Jr., West High, and North High Schools in Sioux City. He was a lifelong Sioux City resident, but spent eight years in the U.S. Army. He attended the Adaville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: a daughter, Suzanne Woolsey of Sioux City: his mother and stepfather, Beverly and G. Stephen Woolsey of Chatsworth; his father, George Stanton, of Sioux City; two sisters, Teri Bartee of Chatsworth and Bonnie Stewart of Rapid City, SD; two special friends, Delores Steel and Amy J. Full both of Sioux City. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Sevier; maternal grandparents, Mervin and Esther Monroe; and paternal grandmother, Beulah Faulkner
