Albert Van Beek was born June 12, 1929 to Albert G. and Nancy Van Beek in Lebanon, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Esther Bolluyt on November 11, 1949 in Rock Valley, Iowa. He was a member of the Scottsdale Elks Lodge for 32 years. He was the body Shop Manager of Ed Moses Scottsdale Chrysler dealership for many years. Al was also with Aztec Electronics.

Albert died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Hazelwood Manor in Scottsdale Arizona at the age of 85.

He is survived by his wife, Esther, a son Allen and his wife, Debbie. Survivors also include his brother: Jake Van Beek and wife Cora of Rock Valley, Iowa, John and his wife Gert of Rock Valley, Iowa, Marion Van Beek of Wyoming, Missouri, Gerald Van Beek and his wife Jeanette of Rock Valley, Iowa, Daniel Van Beek and his wife Peggy of Okoboji, Iowa, and his sisters: Leona Vandestroet of Jasper, Minnesota, Norma Vanden Top and husband Gilbert of Rock Valley, Iowa.

Survivors also include three grandchildren: Heather Eppel and husband, John, of Princeton, Texas, April Bergerson of Iowa, Tamara Davies and husband, Chris, of Plano, Texas, and eight great-grandchildren: Zachery and Ciere Eppe, Sara, Cheyenne, Leah and Amanda Bergerson and Shawn and Noah Davies.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Nancy Van Beek, sister-in-law Henrietta Van Beek, and brother-in-law Gerrit Vandenstroet.
