Hawarden Independent of December 14,1989

Hazel L. Bultman, 91, of Sioux City, and formerly of rural Hawarden, died Friday, December 8, at a Sioux City convalescent home. Services were Monday, December 11, at the Porter-Dow Funeral Home, in Hawarden, with the Rev. Loren Vogler officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bultman, the former Hazel Henaman, was born June 8, 1898, at Rock Valley. She attended rural schools near Rock Valley, and Hudson, SD, High School. She married George Bultman December 23, 1919, in Hawarden. They farmed southeast of Hawarden, and retired into Ireton in 1972. They moved to Sioux City in 1982. George died November 10,1985
