Sioux Center NewsN. Roghair residing near Orange City recently lost two children to infantile paralysis.
(This could be the family of Nickolas Roghair born abt 1861 Neth. and wife Ida born abt 1885 Iowa . They had children Johanna 6, Ella 4, Gertie 3, Gerrit 0. In a family report on ancestry.com The child Ella is not mentioned and Gertie born 1907 with no death record. Ida Van Steenwyk born 1883 died 1939. Upon checking the Sioux County death records Alice Roghair born 4/22/1907 3 yrs and Gertie Roghair born 8/4/1905 daughters of Nic Rogair and Ida Van Steenwyk, died Sep 9, and Sept 11, 1910 at Maurice of Poliomyelitis.)
