Henry Imbrock died at the home of his son-in-law Dick Friederichs two miles west of Ireton on Saturday September third. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy thirty six hours before he passed away, Henry Imbrock was sixty five years, eight months and seventeen days old when he died.

He was born in Tefel, Hanover Germany December sixteenth 1844. He came to the United States in 1884 and made his first home in Napoleon Ohio. Ten years later he came to Sioux county where he made his home near Ireton on a farm. He was married in Germany in 1870 to Miss Anna Mary Heuer.

This union was blessed with six children all of whom survive the father—Herman, August, Charles, Mrs. H. Brunkhorst, Mrs. D. Friederichs—-all of Ireton— and Mrs. J. Jipp of Centerville South Dakota, The funeral was held on Tuesday September sixth from the Lutheran church and was conducted by Rev. H. Schwenk, Mr, and Mrs. John Jipp of Centerville South Dakota attended the funeral.
