From the Rock Valley Bee, October 2, 1914:

The funeral services of the baby of Mr. and Mrs. John Vogelzang residing southwest of Rock Valley were held Monday forenoon [Sept. 28] from the Reformed church and the remains were buried in the Valley View Cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
