Adrian Van De Hoef, 66, of Nederland, TX, died Friday, April 14, at M.D. Anderson Hospital, in Houston. He was a native of Hawarden and lived in Nederland, TX 33 years. He retired as an operator for Texaco Chemical Co., in Port Neches. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 493 in Nederland, TX and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Services were held Monday, April 17, at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland, TX, with burial in Oak Bluff Memorial Park, in Port Neches. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Nicholas Van De Hoef; his father, Ed Van De Hoef, of Ireton; two sons, Mike Van De Hoef, Of Nederland, TX and Steve Van De Hoef, of Austin, TX; two daughters, Gayle Yancey, of Reno, NV and Patti Gengo, of Beaumont, TX; two brothers, Tony Van De Hoef, of Denver, CO and Richard Van De Hoef, of Orange City; five sisters, Catherine Bowden and Charlcnc Schiefcn, of Hawarden, Edna Royston, of Mitchell, SD, Jo Ann Winterfeld, of Ireton and Agnes Kleinhesselink, of Hixsion, TN 10 grandchildren; and one great grandson
