Jeanette A. Weaver, 69, retired sales clerk, died Wednesday, June 14, in a hospital in Rochester, MN, after a short illness. A memorial service was Saturday in Nelson-Berger Momingside Chapel with the Rev, Susan Ryder, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. The body was cremated and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date..

Mrs. Weaver was born October 17, 1919, in Hawarden. She attended Hawarden schools and graduated from Hawarden High School in 1937. She had been a Sioux City resident for 35 years. She married Roy Weaver April 17, 1976, in Sioux City. She was a sales clerk for Younkers Department Store for 28 years, retiring in 1976. Mrs. Weaver was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 77 and the Younkers 20 Year Club.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Thomas L Gibbons, of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Judy) Morocco, of Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Terry (Jan) Lang, of Lincoln, NE; three brothers; three sisters and four grandchildren.
