Funeral services for Will White, 80, who died at the Panska Nursing home Friday, were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Barnard Funeral home, Reverend Paul Williams officiating. Burial was at Grace Hill Cemetery.

A son of George and Lydia White, he as born in Sac county, Iowa, April 16, 1877. He came to Hawarden with his parents at an early age and attended school in Calliope. He worked as a farm laborer in this territory for many years. He lived with a brother, Earnest, until 1902. He then bought a home in which he lived with his father, whom he took care of until the latter's death, and with a brother, Elmer, who died in 1953.

Last January 26 Mr. White was found unconscious in his home, partly frozen in the 20 degree below zero weather. He was removed to the Panska Nursing home where he remained as a patient.

Preceding him in death were two sisters and four brothers. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, including Richard Younie of Schaller, Iowa, Raymond Younie of Wessington Springs, South Dakota, Richard Younie of Sacramento, California; Clifford Younie of Manilla, Iowa, and Maude Gardner and Lela Witt of Bellflower, California.
