From the Rock Valley Bee, February 20, 1914:

Mrs. Wm. Vis died very suddenly at her home in Hull Saturday [Feb. 7 or 14]. On the day before her death she had visited at the home of her parents. On her arrival home toward evening she was taken suddenly sick and became unconscious almost from the first and remained in that condition until death came.

From the Alton Democrat, February 14, 1914: Sioux Center news

Last Saturday evening [Feb. 7] Mrs. W. Vis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Brummel, died. She was a young woman and leaves a husband and two young children.

Mrs. Will Vis and infant died at their home south of Hull on Saturday evening. Funeral services were held at the Dutch church on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Jonker officiating. Interment was made in Hope cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community.

Her husband's obituary (posted separately) says that she and an infant daughter died on Feb. 7, 1914.
