Hazel A. Allan, 88, of Movile, died Friday, April I, 1988 at a hospital in Hawarden. Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 1988 at the Moville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marvin Ceynar officiating. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery in Moville.

Mrs. Allan, the former Hazel Harrington, was born January 4, 1900 in Chicago, I L. She married Arthur Allan May 10, 1922 in Sioux City. She was a homemaker. She lived in Dubuque, Sioux City and Norfolk, NE. She moved to a farm near Moville in 1940.and moved into Moville in 1962. She had lived in Hawarden since 1985.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harrington and Sarah Evans; her husband, Arthur; a son, Robert; rwo brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, George of Moville; four daughters, Mrs. George (Betty Jeanne) Mason, of Blanchester, OH, Janet Wakeman of Hawarden and Mrs. Kenneth (Karen) Vaul and Beverly Kehrberg, both of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Leona Crawford of Sioux City; 22 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren.
