Dallas E. Hecht, 87, died in a Hawarden hospital Thursday, Jan. 14, after a long illness. Services were held Monday, Jan. 18, at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. Rev. Denard Nelson officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Akron.

Miss Hecht was born Dec. 8,1900, at Hardwick, MN. She graduated from Luverne High School and Heals Academy of Business and Fine Arts in California. She was a department store, postal and bank clerk for many years in the Hardwick area. She retired and moved to Akron in 1950. She entered the
Hawarden nursing Home July 9,1986. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include many cousins.
