Janice Elaine Tank, 66, of Plymouth, MN, died Saturday, January 16, 1988, in an Edina, MN hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Tank, the former Janice Ellis, was born July 17, 1922, in Hawarden to Garland and Christine Ellis. She grew up in Hawarden and graduated from Hawarden High School. She married Perry Tank, of Sioux City, in 1940, and moved to Minneapolis shortly thereafter.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Jim Tank, of Londale, MN; two daughters: Diane Shugren of Cedar, MN, and Nancy Keeley, of Minnetonka, MN; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Hodoway, of Hawarden, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Sylvan Ellis.
