Susie Nelson, 93, of Alcester, died Monday, February 8, 1988 in a nursing home in Alcester.
Services were 10 a.m. Friday, February 12, 1988 in Nathanael Lutheran Church in Alcester with the
Rev. Charles Peterson officiating. Burial was in North Nathanael Cemetery.

Mrs. Nelson, the former Susie Albers, was born Aug. 19, 1894, in Canistota. She moved with her parents to a farm near Hawarden in 1904 and received her schooling in rural Higgins School. She married Henry Nelson Dec. 3, 1913, rural Hawarden. The couple lived most of their married life in the Beresford and Alcester communities. Mr. Nelson died March 29, 1977. She had been a resident of Morningside Manor the last several years. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
