Hold Last Rites Here on Tuesday
For Mrs. T. Barb

Last rites were held for Hazel Mae, Mrs.Troy Barb on Tuesday, June 20. Services were held at 1:30 at .the home and at 2:00 p.m. in the Methodist church, with Rev. M.L. Jones officiating. Interment was made in the Valley View cemetery.

Mrs. Hazel May Linton Barb,the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Frank Linton, was born at Doon, Iowa, on August 15, 1897, and died'at her home in Rock Valley on June 17 at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 2 days. Barb grew to womanhood in Doon and on September 25, 1919, was married to Troy Barb of Doon. To this union was born one daughter, Mildred. They made their home in Doon until 1945 when they moved to Rock Valley. They have lived here since that time. She was a member of the Congregational church in Doon.
Mrs. Barb had been in poor health for a number of years and was quite ill for the last few
months. All that human hands could do was done for her.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and daughter, Mildred; her mother, Mrs. May Linton of Doon; two brothers, Walter and Howard Linton of Sioux Falls, S. D., and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were nephews, Clare, Lowell; Walter, and Leonard Linton, Bernard O'ppold and
Louie De Boer, all of Sioux Falls.
