Wendell Witt
Wendell L. Witt, 67, of Sioux Falls, died recently in Sioux Valley Hospital. Mr. Witt was born March 19, 1920, in Hawarden, where he grew up and was graduated from Hawarden High School. He attended Morningside College in Sioux City, for two years before serving in the Army during World War II. He married Helen Blecha April 18,1977, in Sioux Falls. Mr. Witt was employed as a purchasing agent at L. G. Everist, Inc. for 30 years, retiring in
1985.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Douglas and Randy, both of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Patti) McBreen, Sioux Falls; two stepdaughters: Mrs. Stephen (Debra) Paden, Omaha, NE; and Mrs. Mark (Susanne) Carlson, Sioux Falls; and 15 grandchildren.

Services were held in Miller Funeral Home. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites by the VFW.
