Mrs. Ole Peterson, 96, of Hawarden, died Wednesday, August 12,1987, at the Akron Care Center following a brief illness. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 15, at Peace Lutheran Church at Alcester. Rev. Richard Luttmann officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.

Mrs. Peterson, the former Elizabeth Frances Miller, was born February 16, 1891, at Manning. She moved to Union County, SD, when she was a year old and lived in Alcester, SD, for several years. She moved to Hawarden in 1970 and moved in the Akron Care Center two weeks ago. She married Ole Peterson November 12, 1941, at Dakota City, NE. He died in 1959. She was a long-time member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Josephine Heyl, of Akron.
