Former Local Methodist Minister Dies
At Des Moines Home

The Rev. John Kettle, former pastor of the local Methodist church, died at his home in Des
Moines Sunday night o£ a heart attack. Funeral services were held in Des Moines on Wednesday
afternoon. Interment will be made today (Thursday) in Grace cemetery in Sioux City.
Both Rev. Kettle's sons, one from Chicago and one from California, are expected to be in
Sioux City for graveside services.
Many friends from Ireton and Rock Valley are also planning to attend.
