Clara Hoogland, 85, of Glendale, AZ, and formerly of Hawarden, died Thursday, May 28,1987, at a care centerin Glendale. Mrs. Hoogland, the former Clara Hinds, was born August 24,1901, near Hawarden. She married Andrew Hoogland and the couple lived in theHawarden area before moving toPhoenix, AZ, in 1957. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Gergen, of Peoria, AZ. Services and burial were in Phoenix, AZ.
