Palma E. McKee,83, Hawarden, died Saturday, May 27, 1989 in the Hawarden Community hospital.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the United Methodist Church in Hawarden with Reverend Paul Hansen officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Porter-Dow funeral home in Hawarden.

Mrs. McKee, the former Palma Loe, was born July 29, 1905 in Sioux County, where she attended rural school. She married Clyde K. McKee, June 11, 1926 in Canton, South Dakota. The couple farmed in the Hawarden area until 1968 when they retired and moved into Hawarden. Mr. McKee died January 16, 1972.

Mrs. McKee was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hawarden.

Survivors include two sons, Clyde P. of Akron and Paul of Hawarden; a stepson, Erskin McKee of Camp Verde, Arizona; two daughters, Mrs. Curtis (May Lou) Lewison of Akron and Carol Ortiz of Grass Valley, California; two stepdaughters, Beatrice Monger and Ruth Crawford, both of Tennessee; a brother, Ole Loe of Walker, Minnesota; three sisters, Clara Anderson of Canton, Alma Hudson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Mrs. Lee (Lillian) Trudeau of Alcester, South Dakota; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Sina Loe; her husband; an infant son, two stepsons; three brothers; three sisters and one granddaughter.
