Henry Cassidy died at his home in Minneapolis on Friday July eighth 1910. He had been sick with pneumonia and he was too old for battle against it. He was born in Ireland on January twelfth 1828 and was therefore eighty two years six months and two days old when he died. He came to Hull in-1878 and made his home there until 1903 when he moved to Minneapolis. He was one of Sioux county's old soldiers veteran of the civil war and a prominent G. A. R, man. He was one of Hull's highly respected citizens and the Cassidy home was among the prominent homes of Hull,

The funeral services were held from the Catholic church at Hull on July twelfth 1910 and Revs, Shaffer of Sheldon, Cassidy (son of the deceased), McNally of Maurice, Cooper of Alvord and Fitzgerald of Lenox Iowa conducted the services including the solemn requiem high mass Interment was made in St, Mary's cemetery and a large concourse of friends-both Catholics and protestants had gathered to pay their last respects to the dead. The deceased is survived by four sons and three daughters. Mrs. Ann Cassidy passed away on May thirteenth 1900 at Hull
