Funeral services were held Monday for Mr. Albert Rowenhorst long time farmer near Orange City. At the time of his death Mr. Rowenhorst was 75 years old.

Mr. Rowenhorst has been a Sioux County resident since the time this part of Iowa was opened to homesteading. At the time of his death he was farming the property on which his father placed his first homestead. During his life Mr. Rowenhorst has seen the values of farm goods reach levels never to be expected when he came here and seen them again decline to about the same they were before.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, and a daughter, a sister Mrs. A. M. Braskamp of Los Angeles, CA and a brother Hien Rowenhorst of Orange City.

Mrs. Rowenhorst and Mrs. Henry De Kruuy attended the funeral services from here.
