Funeral services for Ross R. Rhodes of Braham, MN. who resided in Hawarden from 1918 to 1937, were held Monday afternoon of this week at the Braham Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mr. Rhodes was born May 21, 1894 in Dallas Center, IA. In 1918 he entered military service and after his honorable discharge came to Hawarden where he married Dorothy Fairbrother Feb. 8, 1923. They continued to live at Hawarden until 1937 when they moved to MN.

Mr. Rhodes died at the Braham Community Hospital Wednesday of last week.

Survivors include the widow, Dorothy; one daughter, Mrs. Russel (Virginia) Dahl of Braham, one son, Roy , of San Francisco; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Nellie Rhodes of Rock Falls, ILL., and seven grandchildren.
