Funeral services for Mrs. William E. (Mary)Rounds, 91, were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Dow Funeral Home. Dr. G. S. Bruland, pastor of the Hawarden Methodist Church, officiated. Burial took place in Riverside cemetery at Akron.

Mrs. Rounds died Saturday at Burnight's Nursing Home. She was born March 16, 1876, at Sunbury, PA. When she was two years old, she and her parents moved to Iowa, settling first in the Blencoe-Onawa area.

She was married March 8, 1900. Mr. Rounds died in March of 1960. She lived in Sioux City and in LeMars for several years until she moved to Hartley 15 years ago. She returned to Hawarden five weeks ago.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Henry Burnight of Chatsworth; four sons, William E. and Floyd, both of Los Angeles, CA, and Howard and Raymond, both of Hartley; a brother, Ray Heller of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren.
