Funeral services for Mrs. F. Pollema of Hull were held Friday March 11, at the home of George Vink and the First Reformed Church of Hull, with Rev. Wayne Lemmen officiating. Burial was in the Hull Hope Cemetery with the arrangements under the direction of the Co-op Burial Association of Sioux Center.

Mrs. F. Pollema nee Winnie Lockhorst, passed away early Wed. March 9, at the Sioux Center Hospital, at age of 78 years 2 months and 13 days. On Jan. 24, 1902 she was united in marriage to Fiete Pollema and to this union 10 children were born. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1933, and also two brothers and one sister,
The following children survive; Sam, Sy, Wm. and Wilma (Mrs. George Vink) all of Hull; Peter of Inwood; Jennie (Mrs John Brouwer) of George; Annie (Mrs. Art Schurman) of Madison, MN; Gertie (Mrs. Gerrit Van Sloten) of Doon; Winnie (Mrs. Herman Vollink) of Rock Valley; Alice (Mrs. Art Steenhoven) of Hospers. Also 40 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers were the following grandsons of the deceased; John Van Sloten, Henry Pollema, Frank Pollema, Richard Brouwer, Arlan Steenhoven and Vernon Pollema.
