DEATH FOLLOWS LONG ILLNESS
Mrs. Cynthia Willey Passed Away Sunday Night at Hawarden Hospital Mrs. Cynthia Willey of Havelock
mother of Mrs. L. W. Northrop of Hawarden, passed away at the Hawarden hospital at 10:25 Sunday night, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Willey came to Hawarden three weeks ago last Friday to be with her daughter so that she might be near to care for her. A week later her condition became greatly aggravated and she was removed to the Hawarden hospital in order to receive the best of care but it Was known at the time that her condition was critical.

The deceased was born March 27 1864, at Cedar Falls, so was a trifle past 68 years of age at the time of he death. She had lived at Havelock for a number of years preceding her death She was a member of the Presbyterian church at Laurens. All of her children were with her a week ago Sunday and Mrs. Voll Adams of Olivia, Minn., and Mrs. Howard Page of Waverly, Iowa her daughters, together with Mrs Northrop, were with her much of the time during her stay in this city. He husband passed away about five years ago.

She is survived by seven children Mrs. L. W. Northrop of Hawarden who moved here recently from EagleGrove; Mrs. Voll Adams and Walter Willey of Olivia, Minn.; Mrs. Howard Page of Waverly, Iowa; Robert Willey of Des Moines, Iowa; Lev Willey of Havelock, Iowa; and Albert Willey of St. Paul, Minn. Her remains were taken overland Monday to her own home at Havelock accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Northrop and Mrs. Voll Adams. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Havelock Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Day in charge. Burial was made at Havelock
