Died: April 24, 1951 Sioux County, Iowa

Mrs. Ed Roghair passed away at her home on Tuesday morning April 24 after a lingering illness due to cancer. She had reached the age of 49 years.

Mrs. Roghair, nee Dena Riphagen was born in the Netherlands on Dec. 14 1901 and came to America at the age of five years with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Riphagen. The family first settled at Sibley and moved to Sioux County in the year of 1920.

On Feb. 7, 1923 she was married to Ed Roghair at Maurice.

Three children were born to them who now survive with the father. The children are Edward Jr., William and Esther all of Sioux Center. She is further survived by her parents Mr and Mrs. Wm. Riphagen, a sister, Mrs. Henry Kamerman, and three brothers, Gerrit Riphagen of Maurice, Joe of Sioux Center and William Jr. of Hull.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Vander Ploeg Funeral home and 1:30 at the First Reformed Church, Rev P. A. De Jong officiating.
