Mrs. Erika Wright, 75, died Monday at the Hawarden hospital after a long illness. Her daughter had been with her several weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon (Thursday) in the Barnard Funeral Home with Reverend John C. Thorns of the Associated Church officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

She was born November 6, 1879, at Beresford, South Dakota, where she grew up. She moved to Hawarden when a young woman and lived here for a number of years.

She was married to Earl Alpheus Wright, a railway employee for the North Western Railroad, December 1, 1914, in Sioux City. After her marriage she lived at Redfield, South Dakota, two years, and in 1916 moved to Huron, South Dakota. When Mr. Wright retired in 1944 she returned to Hawarden to make her home. He preceded her in death November 6, 1948.

She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Glenn Owens, of Albany, New York; three sisters, Mrs. L.M. Scriven and Mrs. George Elwell of Hawarden and Mrs. John Foasberg of Huron, South Dakota; a brother, Oscar Sundling of Wabash, Indiana, and two grandchildren.

Mr. Owens arrived from Albany Tuesday to attend the funeral.
