Alton Democrat of May 28, 1910 (Twenty years ago 1890)
Little Benny Scheckel aged six years and the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Nic Scheckel of Alton died Tuesday evening May thirteenth 1890 of diphtheria complicated with heart disease.
(He was born 7 Aug 1884 died 13 May 1890 son of Nicholas and Catherine Scheckel.)
